Bram Stoker’s London: A Vampire Hunters Tour with Dacre Stoker
April 14 @ 2:00 pm - 6:00 pm
Join us for this very special Dracula tour of North London with author and historian Dacre Stoker.
Dacre, the great-great nephew of Bram Stoker, is making a rare visit to London from America, and will give us unique insights into places central to life of Bram Stoker and his writing of legendary Dracula novel.
The tour will begin at 2pm at Golders Green Tube Station, and guests will get the opportunity to see where Bram Stoker’s ashes are interned at Golders Green Crematorium, which is a short walk from the tube. (Besides Bram, the crematorium park is also the last resting place of his family and horror icon Conrad Veidt (The Cabinet of Doctor Caligari).
You will be travelling to Hampstead tube station on the underground afterwards, so you will need a travel card.
The tour will be a leisurely affair, with us visiting a number of sites in North London, where Dacre will tell us about his ancestor and the inspirations for Dracula. We’ll visit some pubs and cemeteries and other locations that besides being part of the Dracula legend, are also haunted!
Ticket cost is £10 and can be bought on the day.
Dacre is the co-author of Dracul, a prequel to Dracula due out in October by Transworld and has recently signed a film deal with Paramount Studios.
He’s a friendly and interesting person to talk to, so grab your chance to spend the afternoon meeting people who love Dracula and find some rare Bram Stoker facts on this Spooky London tour.
