READ to the BOTTOM for SHOWTIMES
This month we have the grisly pleasure of presenting two very different Italian zombie classics.
Burial Ground aka Zombie Nights of Terror (1981)
Is an unbelievably entertaining atmospheric gorefest, with great music and filth encrusted zombies.
Made as a cash in on the success of the Lucio Fulci zombie hits of the same period does its own dance with almost zero plot and a fantastic score.
Director Andrea Bianchi is one of my favourite unsung Italian genre directors with a fantastic talent for sleazing up every genre he touched.
‘City of the Living Dead’ aka ‘Gates of Hell’ (1980)
This is one of Maestro Fulci’s masterpieces and probably the creepiest zombie film ever made.
Its gore and horrror is drenched in the dreamiest of fog enshrouded logic and is truly going to be fantastic to share with you in the big screen!
WARNING neither film is for the squeamish or fainthearted!
As always the screening will be absolutely FREE. However we will be collecting donations for Macmillan Cancer Nurses and Prostate Cancer Research.
Seating is LIMITED to 40 and is on a first come first served basis.
