What’s Under The Bed: The Babadook (Jennifer Kent, 2014)
One of the true breakout cult hits of the past decade, the terrifying Babadook is horror cinema’s most iconic new creation. The story of a mother and her young, sensitive son’s encounter with a children’s fairytale monster sporting a long black coat, top hat and spidery clawed fingers, it soon becomes a story of demonic possession. But who is the real monster in this story?
Brilliantly jumpy and unbearably tense, things haven’t ever gone bump in the night quite like this. You may just want to check the closet when you get home…
