Introducing: Cain Hill

UK-based indie outfit Cupsogue Pictures are busy putting the finishing touches to their much-anticipated ‘Haunted Asylum’ piece Cain Hill, which stars Gemma Atkinson (Hollyoaks, The Dyatlov Pass Incident) and Michael Parr (Hollyoaks, Emmerdale), and features a cameo from Alex Zane, playing himself.

Filming is now complete, and distribution is guaranteed.  You can expect to be able to see Cain Hill for yourself in summer. We will of course keep you updated with any developments!

Here’s a quick synopsis to get the bloodlust going…

When a group of filmmakers investigate an abandoned Asylum famed for its mysterious disappearances, they soon discover the truth is far more horrific than they could have ever imagined.

Led by Director Richard Macintosh and Producer Leonard Kinster, the group plan to spend the weekend inside the walls of Cain Hill Psychiatric Hospital. Famous for the many unexplained disappearances and tales of a murderer called Chester Lockhart.

The team aim to capture the truth behind the famous Cain Hill Asylum. Once inside and set up they soon discover that the stories about Cain Hill aren’t just made up to bring in tourists, and that they aren’t alone. What first seemed like a routine shoot soon becomes a game of cat and mouse with a psychopath determined to kill the intruders.

Like the horror’s of the 70’s; dripping with tension, dread and fear, Cain Hill promises to be a modern horror with a classic style that will introduce the world to a whole new terror.
