Introducing Silently Within Your Shadow

Silently Within Your Shadow 2015

We Believe Horror is More Than Blood & Gore, We Believe Horror Can Be Story Driven.”

Scott Lyus and his production company Crossroad Pictures firmly believe horror is more than just visceral, and it can be scary purely based on the plot. Indie filmmaker Lyus is back with his latest gothic venture Silently Within Your Shadow.

Another gothic love story here, which focuses on Lucette; a young, gorgeous and budding ventriloquist performer that becomes entangled in a bizarre yet darkly twisted love triangle between her, her partner Jace and her overbearing dummy Hugo.

Bill Moseley Silently Within Your Shadow 2015

Silently Within Your Shadow stars the incredible Bill Moseley from The Devil’s Rejects, Army of Darkness and Rob Zombie’s Halloween, as the voice of the deceptive, possessive and creepy doll Hugo. Starring alongside is upcoming actress Sophie Tergeist and actor Byron Fernandes.

I’m excited for this, as I know Scott is fantastic when it comes to story-driven films and the gothic horror genre in general. There’s something so sinister about ventriloquist dolls, and Moseley creates the perfect eerie as fuck voice for Hugo in the trailer. The thought of a dummy becoming obsessed with a human and singing about wanting to hold them is making me say, nope! Everything about the trailer airs that uncomfortable feeling.

Check out the latest trailer and let us know if you’re excited too!
