Samara Is Back… “Rings” Trailer Released

Rings - posterThe trailer for the next instalment in the Ring franchise, Rings, has just been released, with the film set to hit UK screens around Halloween time.

The film is directed by F. Javier Gutierrez (Before The Fall, Demonic),  and is most definitely a sequel rather than a reboot.  Here’s what you can expect:

A young woman becomes worried about her boyfriend when he explores a dark subculture surrounding a mysterious videotape said to kill the watcher seven days after he has viewed it. She sacrifices herself to save her boyfriend and in doing so makes a horrifying discovery: there is a “movie within the movie” that no one has ever seen before…

A movie within a movie?  Ring-ception. It certainly looks as though all the similar atmosphere and style of the previous films have been carried forward though, which we’re thankful for.  Check it out for yourself:
