The Fear – A Short Film Competition

Early last week we were contacted by TV Production house Studio Lambert, who have just launched a amateur film competition – The Fear.

They’re looking for the best short homemade horror films (under 4 minutes) to show to a cinema audience, who will vote for the scariest. The lucky winner will receive funding towards their next film project.

We reckon that this might just appeal to some of you.  If you have the means and ability to create your own entry from start to finish, then fantastic!  If you’re a society member, we’ll certainly give you as much backing as we can.  Or, if you have an idea and need something a little more “hands on” in getting it made then please get in touch at michael.myers@londonhorrorsociety.co.uk and we’ll do as much as we can to help.

This could be a great avenue for some of our film-making contingent to create a nice chunk of budget towards their future projects.  More detail can be found on the official Facebook page, and the deadline for submissions is the 24th July.

Best of luck to all that enter!
