The Next London Horror Society Members Event is Coming!

We’re absolutely thrilled to announce that our second London Horror Society members-only event is in the works. It will take place at 6:30pm, Saturday 23rd January at The Royal George, Charing Cross Road (right next to Tottenham Court Road Station).

You might remember that at the first event we held, we showed you Silently Within Your Shadow – the latest short from LHS member Scott Lyus – and A Nightmare On Elm Street – As a tribute to Wes Craven.

We received such a great reaction from Scott’s film, that this time around we’re going to be showcasing a whole collection of horror shorts. If you’re an amateur film maker yourself, or if you just have an interest in real indie horror, then you won’t want to miss this. As well as the films themselves, we’ll also be having a Q&A with each of the creators.

Here are just a couple of the stellar films that we’ve already confirmed, and more are being confirmed as you read this. It’s going to be an excellent night of shocks, drinks and the chance to meet your fellow members. We can’t wait to see you there.

The Package

First up, we have the much-hyped The Package, by London Horror Society member Damon Rickard. Fresh from it’s award-winning festival tour and appearance at the recent Frightfest all-nighter, we’re so proud to be able to bring you this.

Starring Dan Palmer (who you might recognise as the star and writer of 2013’s excellent Stalled), the film explores the personal price a man will pay and what lengths he will go to in order to save his own life.

Also on the bill is the latest film from the fabulous Scream Queen and London Horror Society Member Emma Dark.

After escaping from a secret government bio-research compound renegade vampire assassin Eva (played by Emma herself) is hell bent on revenge. Receiving a tip off from the mysterious Dante (Anthony Ilott, Wrong Turn 6: Last Resort) she meets with arms dealer Joe (Paul Ewen, Cockneys vs Zombies) who informs her that an enemy is hot on her tail.

Eva hunts the hunter and encounters a team of werewolves, led by pack alpha Tobias (Carey Thring, From Hell). During their confrontation Eva learns a terrible secret and is forced into a situation of such gravity she may have to join forces with the devil she knows in order to fight the greatest of all evils.

How do I get a ticket? And how much does it cost?

Firstly, this is only available to members of the London Horror Society (If you’re not already a member, click here – It’s free to sign up). What’s more, entry is 100% FREE. The only downside is that we can’t fit everybody in the venue, so tickets will be made available on a first-come-first-served basis. It seems the fairest way!

It’s easy to get your ticket. All you need to do is send us an email with your name and the name of a guest that you’d like to bring. One important point to note is that YOU MUST EMAIL US FROM THE EMAIL ADDRESS THAT IS ASSOCIATED WITH YOUR MEMBERSHIP (It’s most likely the one that this email was sent to). It will be a large part of how we go about verifying your membership with us.

Again, as space is limited, we are only able to allow each member to bring one guest. Huge apologies there, but we need to ensure we’re able to get as many of your fellow members in as we can!

If you have any questions, then please get in touch via the same email address. We look forward to seeing you there!
