Join The Miskatonic Institute of Horror Studies, and lecturer Xavier Aldana Reyes, for a chat about horror cinema in Spain, which did not become well-known for its contribution to the genre until the late 1960s.
The presentation will discuss the beginnings of this financially driven cinematic surge and will consider the terminological implications of the modern use of ‘fantaterror’ to refer to all forms of supernatural cinema.
